We can­cel or lower fees for Lands­bréf funds

We have cancelled or lowered fees that apply to transactions in Landsbréf funds, making it even more favourable than before to invest in funds.   

Customers who trade in Landsbréf funds through Landsbankinn’s app or online banking will no longer pay a service charge, neither on individual transactions nor monthly subscriptions.  

The purchase fee in Landsbréf mutual funds and mixed funds is decreased to 0.25%; it is 0.188% with the 25% discount in the app and online banking. The purchase fee in Landsbréf equity funds is decreased to 0.50%; it is 0.375% with the 25% discount in the app and online banking. 

These changes have already entered into effect.

Other changes to charges 

On 1 November, the service charge on securities transactions increases from ISK 450 to ISK 600. With the 50% discount on transactions in the app and online banking, the service charge for equity trading increases from ISK 225 to ISK 300.  

At the beginning of 2026, the minimum custody fee for securities for private individuals increases from ISK 2,900 to ISK 3,100.
