Gamification to boost learning

Sharing knowledge and offering reliable information is one of the best ways we have of contributing to awareness about finances. We like to utilise all tools available to us in order to reach a large audience across a broad spectrum. Over the years, we have published articles and opinion pieces both on our own website and in the media. The Bank’s experts often give interviews and we host popular information meetings on various subjects around the country. More recently, we have taken social media into use to publish lighter yet still informative content, often using visual representation rather than text.
We are always looking for ways to develop and extend our reach and have now added gamification to our arsenal of education tools. Autumn is the season of offers and sales and cybercriminals try to take advantage of that. Our first game is aimed at helping people learn to identify scams. Everyone can play the game on our website and those who do well are eligible to win 25,000 Aukakrónur.
The game is in Icelandic - a double opportunity to learn for English speakers!
