Cor­por­ate Fin­ance ad­vises the Min­istry of Fin­ance on the sale of the State’s share­hold­ing in Ís­lands­banki

The Ministry of Finance and Economic Affairs has retained Landsbankinn Corporate Finance as independent financial advisor for the management and supervision of the public offering or offerings of the State’s remaining shareholding in Íslandsbanki hf.

On 22 June 2024, the Icelandic parliament Althingi passed a law providing for the disposition of the State’s shareholding in Íslandsbanki hf. The government intends to sell the remaining 42.5% share in Íslandsbanki held by the National Treasury in 2024 and 2025 in a public stock offering.
