Remember that you can use Landsbankinn’s app and other self-service solutions to take care of most banking business. As an example, you can freeze your cards in the app and online banking if they are lost, stolen or misused. You can then re-open the cards if you find them again.
Response to fraud
If you are a victim of fraud, we encourage you to notify us as soon as possible and, if necessary, report the matter to the police. Landsbankinn staff are on duty from 9 am to 11 pm throughout Easter and will assist in resolving fraud cases. Outside of these hours, calls will automatically be transferred to the Visa emergency number.
Ellí is online and ATMs are accessible
Our chatbot Ellí mans the online chat and responds to all general questions about banking over Easter. If you need cash, many of our ATMs are accessible around the clock. Information about ATM locations is available here on our website and in the app.
Gift card ATMs are available around the clock in our Borgartún, Mjódd and Hamraborg branches.
