Landsbankinn hereby recalls reflectors that have been distributed through the Bank’s branches since September 2017. This is due to a deviation from a chemical content rule discovered by the Environment and Food Agency.

The reflectors in question are images of the Sprotar characters and are labelled Landsbankinn ÍST EN 13356.

Parents and guardians of children who have received these reflectors are asked to cease use of the product and return them to a recycling station as plastic or to a local Landsbankinn branch. Landsbankinn intends to restock with a different brand of reflectors and aims to have these available through the Bank’s branches this fall.

Customers who received these reflectors will be welcomed in any of the Bank’s branches and offered a replacement gift product. We regret the inconvenience this may cause.
