Resigns as a Mem­ber of the Board of Dir­ect­ors of Lands­bankinn hf.

Samúel Guðmundsson has resigned from the Board of Directors of Landsbankinn. Samúel was elected as alternate to the Board of Directors in April 2016 and became a regular member in March 2018.

Helga Björk Eiríksdóttir, Chairman of the Board of Directors: “Samúel owned a share in the management company of a restaurant which has faced operating difficulties. Under the circumstances, he deemed it right to resign from the Board of Directors, as continuing as a Director could be considered questionable and erode confidence in the Board and Landsbankinn. I respect his decision, wish Samúel success in the future and thank him for his work in recent years.”
