Lands­bankinn‘s gift cards and Aukak­ron­ur re­demp­tion cards do not func­tion from 9:00–9:40 pm

Landsbankinn‘s gift cards and Aukakronur redemption cards do not function from 9:00 -9:40 pm. This temporary malfunction is due to the deployment of the new deposit and payment system of the Icelandic Bank‘s Data Centre (RB) and Landsbankinn this past weekend. This will be remedied with a software update this coming Sunday, 26 November.

Landsbankinn‘s gift cards and Aukakronur redemption cards do not function from 9:00 -9:40 pm. This temporary malfunction is due to the deployment of the new deposit and payment system of the Icelandic Bank‘s Data Centre (RB) and Landsbankinn this past weekend. This will be remedied with a software update this coming Sunday, 26 November.

Due to the deployment of the new deposit and payment system of the Icelandic Banks' Data Centre (RB) and Landsbankinn errors in bank statements have been detected and interruptions in service have occurred.Landsbankinn and RB are jointly working on repairs.

Latter dividend payment of 2025 made today
In accordance with the decision of its Annual General Meeting, Landsbankinn has today paid a dividend to its owners in the amount of ISK 9,446 million. As a result, total dividend paid by the Bank in the years 2013-2025 amounts to ISK 210.6 billion.

Change to close of business on banking days
As of 8 September 2025, the close of business on banking days for the deposit systems of the Icelandic Banks’ Data Centre (RB) will be set back from 21:00 to 24:00. This means that transactions such as transfers, carried out between 21:00 and 24:00, will be registered on the same day.
