The fund invests in domestic and foreign equity funds and bond funds, domestic and foreign equities and bonds, as well as deposits with financial undertakings. The fund is authorised to invest a total maximum of 60% of its assets in equities and equity funds and a maximum of 60% in international funds and bonds.

Eignadreifing varfærin is a feeder fund of the master fund Landsbréf - Einkabréf B hs. which is an investment fund with active asset management.  Feeder funds invest a minimum of 85% of their assets in the master fund. The master fund, Einkabréf B, invests in domestic and international financial instruments. Investments may include individual securities, equities, bonds, money market instruments and deposits, or unit shares in funds that mainly invest in the aforementioned asset classes. Maximum investment in equities and equity funds is 20% of the master fund’s assets and total investment in non-domestic assets shall not exceed 50% of its assets, including a 30% maximum in bonds and 20% maximum in equities. Eignadreifing varfærin is suitable for achieving returns from a diversified portfolio over a medium term, 3 years or longer.
