Lands­bankinn is­sues EUR 300 mil­lion green bond

Landsbankinn has finalised the sale of 5Y green bonds in the amount of EUR 300 million. This is the Bank’s fifth green bond issuance in euros. The bonds bear 3.75% fixed rates and were sold at terms equivalent to a 155 basis point spread above mid-swap market rates.

Subscriptions came to just over one billion euro from over 100 investors from the UK, the Nordics, mainland Europe and Asia.

The bonds will be issued under Landsbankinn’s EMTN programme with reference to its Sustainable Finance Framework, which has been verified by Sustainalytics. The aim is to list the bonds on Euronext Dublin as of 8 October 2024.

Managers were ABN AMRO Bank, J.P. Morgan, Natixis and Nomura.
