Elvar Thór Karlsson has been hired as Head of Landsbankinn Corporate Finance. He takes up the position this winter.
Elvar has extensive experience of work on financial markets. Since 2018, he has worked as project manager in corporate finance at Íslandsbanki where he was involved in many of the main projects of corporate finance, including sales and acquisitions, mergers, financial restructuring and funding. Elvar previously managed his own business operation.
Elvar completed a BSc in Business Administration from Reykjavík University in 2017 and became a licensed securities broker the same year. He completed an MCF in Corporate Finance from Reykjavík University in 2021.
