The app has developed in leaps and bounds in recent years, both as regards technical solutions, security and customer service. The app scores high in customer satisfaction. It can be used to deal with various tasks and offers more options and features than other banking apps.
Only in Landsbankinn’s app
Landsbankinn has been leading in the induction of the open banking system and one of the new features launched in the app in 2023 is the option to view and use bank accounts with other banks. This feature is based on the provisions of the open banking system implemented through the EU’s PSD2 regulation and we were the first Icelandic bank to meet its requirements.
In 2023, we launched a shared view of finances feature for customers, allowing families to gain an overview of their joint finances in a simple manner in the app - another service not available anywhere else.
We continue to introduce new features and solutions, such as the recent option to refinance mortgages in the app and features for corporate customers of Landsbankinn’s Acquiring Service. And we’re not done, not by a long shot!
