The Annual Report is published simultaneously in Icelandic and English. The Bank’s Annual Financial Statements were published 29 January of this year.
Highlights of the Annual Report:

- New features in Landsbankinn’s app and brand-new corporate online banking
- Universal financial services to enterprises of all sizes
- Success in payment acquiring and corporate finance
- Convenience of the country’s largest branch network for all customers, regardless of location
- Integration of insurance in the Bank’s activities
- Financial education and learning initiatives, sponsorship and wide-reaching partnership projects
- Extensive undertakings in IT
- Education about and prevention of cybercrime
- Focus areas in asset management and capital markets
- Positive development in pension savings and supplementary pension savings for the younger generation
Sustainability part of core operation
Since 2012, concerted efforts have been made to implement sustainability throughout the Bank’s activities and it has now become part of its core operation. Detailed sustainability accounts are published alongside the Bank’s annual financial statements rather than in a stand-alone sustainability report as before. As a result, the time has come for Landsbankinn's Annual Report, that for the past couple of years has been titled the Annual & Sustainability Report, to revert to its former name. This Annual Report nevertheless discusses sustainability in the Bank’s operation in detail as before.
