You get 5.25% interest by saving in the app

13 October 2022 - Landsbankinn

We now offer a 5.25% deposit rate when you save in Landsbankinn’s app. These savings have no fixed term and you can access your funds anywhere and anytime.

When you save in the app, a non-indexed account with no fixed term is created. This account type is intended for retail customers and can only be created in the app and on L.is.

By saving in our app, you now get 5.25% interest, the most favourable interest rate we offer on non-restricted deposit accounts.

You can choose between four methods to make a deposit to your savings. You can transfer to the account at any time. You can also decide to transfer a set amount each month, save a percentage of wages or create a rule that transfers a set percentage of each debit card transaction to your savings.
