The week ahead
We expect the MPC to lower policy rates by 0.25 pp on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Statistics Iceland will release CPI numbers for June. We expect a 0.4% increase between months and for headline inflation to be 3.4% y/y.
On Friday, the CBI will release its quarterly Economic Indicators.

In accordance with the decision of its Annual General Meeting, Landsbankinn has today paid a dividend to its owners in the amount of ISK 9,446 million. As a result, total dividend paid by the Bank in the years 2013-2025 amounts to ISK 210.6 billion.
