Reykjavík Culture Night will be celebrated in the city centre on Saturday, 24 August. Landsbankinn has been a proud participant and pillar of the Culture Night festival since its inception and the programme is as varied and exciting as ever.
Culture Night is even more special this year as it is the anniversary of Landsbankinn and TM, 140 and 70 years respectively. To mark the occasion, Landsbankinn and TM invite visitors to enjoy a day of magical and musical family fun at the Bank’s headquarters in Reykjastræti 6.
Fun for the whole family

The programme begins at 13:30 with Lalli the magician. Lalli can charm and enchant spectators of any age and a magical experience is guaranteed.

At 14:30, the band Gleðisveitin Hnokkar will start us all swinging with their tunes. Joining them are dancers from Sveiflustöðin who will show us how it’s done. We certainly intend to swing it and encourage our guests to participate.

Sólon and Dimma dúskur are next on stage at 15:30 with a set full of music, song and dance, especially for our youngest guests. Sólon is a superhero from the Sun who travels to Earth to visit exciting places and help kids to learn. Dimma dúskur joins him, bringing the good vibes and amping up fun.

At 16:30, it’s time for Emmsjé Gauti to wind up our programme with powerful rhythms. Gauti has been one of the country’s most popular musicians for many years now and is known for his lively stage performances and tunes that we all know and love. Everything is geared up to a unique and fantastic show with Emmsjé Gauti.
