Laufey Rún Ketilsdóttir has joined the new Media & Research department at Landsbankinn as a communication and PR specialist. The department plays a key role in ensuring coordinated and strategic information disclosure from the Bank.
Laufey Rún holds a degree in law (ML) from Reykjavík University and the University of Iceland (BA). She has extensive experience of communications and media relations. In recent years, Laufey Rún was PR Officer for Fisheries Iceland, project manager and legislative director to a parliamentary party, political advisor to the Minister of Justice and a journalist at Morgunblaðið. Alongside work and study, Laufey Rún has been active in various associations and in the political arena.
The position was advertised for application in April and Laufey Rún was selected from a large group of applicants.
Laufey Rún has already taken up the position.
