Landsbankinn was ranked highest by banking customers in the Icelandic Performance Satisfaction Index 2023, the fifth year running.

Lilja Björk Einarsdóttir, CEO of Landsbankinn:

“We are so happy to rank highest in banking service for the fifth time in a row! My heartfelt thanks to our customers and to our wonderful employees, who really do their utmost to offer exemplary service that our customers are happy with. There is great satisfaction with Landsbankinn’s app, which is easy to use, secure and includes several features that aren’t available in other bank apps. Among our most popular features in the app are smart savings, where customers get the best deposit rates on accounts with no fixed term. Last year, customers who used this fantastic and simple saving solutions were up 50%!

While the majority of our customers are doing fine financially and late payments are historically low, we are aware that a lot of people are worried about high interest rates levels and inflation, not least those who are facing higher debt service on their mortgages or have fixed-rate mortgages that are up for revision this summer. We certainly hope that conditions will change to allow for lower rates and, in the meantime, encourage customers to contact us for advice on the possibilities for both lending and investing. We are here for our customers, be it over the phone, remote meetings or in person in branches throughout Iceland.

It takes less than a minute to become a customer and get access to exemplary personal service and first-rate digital solutions that make life easier. Topping the Performance Satisfaction Index for the fifth time in a row motivates us to do even better. Thank you!”
