Last day in Aus­turstræti

Today is the last day the Landsbankinn branch in Austurstræti 11 is open and the doors close at 16:00. All activities move to the Bank’s new branch in Reykjastræti 6, which is already open.

At the end of business today, the Bank’s 99 year history in Austurstræti 11 also ends. The Bank has a long tradition and deep roots in Reykjavík and ever since 1989, the Bank’s headquarters have been an impactful part of the cityscape.

While this chapter in Landsbankinn’s history is closing, a new one begins. We warmly welcome customers at our new headquarters in Reykjastræti 6. We look forward to seeing you!
