Ragnar Einarsson has been hired for the new position of Head of Acquiring at Landsbankinn. The Bank will offer corporate acquiring services in the coming year, both for in-store and online commerce.
Ragnar has extensive experience and knowledge of acquiring. He previously worked for acquirer Rapyd, leading the company’s business development division through a high-growth period. He was co-founder and CEO of Icelandic software company SalesCloud, a successful vendor of unified commerce solutions. Ragnar led business and product development for the domestic acquiring section of Borgun. He was also involved in the development of fintech Aur and served on its Board of Directors.
Ragnar holds a B.Sc. degree in business administration from the University of Iceland.
