New Branch Man­ager in Hafn­ar­fjörður

Kristín Rut Einarsdóttir has been appointed Branch Manager of Landsbankinn’s Hafnarfjörður branch.

Kristín Rut holds a BA degree in sociology from the University of Iceland, as well as a teaching diploma and has recently concluded a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on management and strategy development from the University of Iceland. She has also concluded a programme for management development with the Open University in Reykjavík University.

Kristín Rut has been Head of the Customer Service Centre since 2008. She has been involved in and led numerous projects on behalf of the Customer Service Centre in its increasingly important role in customer service.

Landsbankinn’s Hafnarfjörður branch offers universal banking services, including highly sought after housing financing advice. The branch has around the clock access to ATMs that allow customers to withdraw and deposit cash, transfer funds and more. There is also a foreign currency ATM on site. The Hafnarfjörður branch’s market share has increased steadily in recent years.

Kristín Rut takes over as Branch Manager in Hafnarfjörður from Berglind Rut Hauksdóttir who will be taking on a new role in the Bank’s Business Solutions department.
