Landsbankinn card holders can now link their payment cards to Garmin Pay and Fitbit Pay. Garmin and Fitbit watches that incorporate near field communication technology (NFC chips) can be used to pay in all contactless card readers throughout the world.

Garmin Pay and Fitbit Pay are an addition to contactless payment options with mobiles and smart watches using the card app (Android) and Apple Pay (iPhone/Apple watch).

Payment using the watches function the same way as contactless payments with other smart devices. Withdrawal limits and all other payment card functions are maintained and benefits like Aukakrónur and insurance are unchanged.
