Una Jónsdóttir has been promoted to Head of Economic Research at Landsbankinn.
Una has worked in Economic Research since 2019 and has, among other duties, been responsible for analysis and forecasts regarding developments in the real estate market and private consumption. Previously, she worked at the Housing Financing Fund as department director of the rental market sector and as an economist at the Icelandic Federation of Labour.
Una holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Management from Humboldt University in Berlin and a B.S. degree from the University of Iceland. Una has already taken up the position and the role of Chief Economist at Landsbankinn.

In accordance with the decision of its Annual General Meeting, Landsbankinn has today paid a dividend to its owners in the amount of ISK 9,446 million. As a result, total dividend paid by the Bank in the years 2013-2025 amounts to ISK 210.6 billion.

As of 8 September 2025, the close of business on banking days for the deposit systems of the Icelandic Banks’ Data Centre (RB) will be set back from 21:00 to 24:00. This means that transactions such as transfers, carried out between 21:00 and 24:00, will be registered on the same day.
