Nína and Sigrún be­come Branch Man­agers

Nína Guðbjörg Pálsdóttir and Sigrún Sæmundsdóttir will in July take up the positions of Branch Managers at Landsbankinn’s Selfoss and Hamraborg, Kópavogur branches, respectively. Both women possess a great deal of experience of work in the financial sector.

Nína Guðbjörg Pálsdóttir and Sigrún Sæmundsdóttir will in July take up the positions of Branch Managers at Landsbankinn’s Selfoss and Hamraborg, Kópavogur branches, respectively. Both women possess a great deal of experience of work in the financial sector.

Nína succeeds Gunnlaugur Sveinsson as Branch Manager of the Selfoss branch upon his retirement. Nína has worked for Landsbankinn for 31 years. From 2004 to 2010, she was Branch Manager at Selfoss. In 2011 to 2018, she held the position of department head in Landsbankinn’s Personal Banking division and later worked as an analyst in the Risk Management division.

Sigrún Sæmundsdóttir replaces Guðrún Ægisdóttir as Branch Manager at Hamraborg as Guðrún moves to Business Solutions in the Bank’s Personal Banking division. Sigrún has accumulated over 20 years of experience in banking. She has worked for Landsbankinn for 15 years as an analyst, department head and director, including in the Personal Banking division. Sigrún completed a degree in industrial administration from the Technical College of Iceland in 1996 and a B.Sc. in business administration from Reykjavík University in 2006.

Latter dividend payment of 2025 made today
