Kids who are Landsbankinn customers are eligible to receive a recreation grant.
The deadline to apply is 30 September 2025.
Recreation grant
Kids ages 6-16 who are Landsbankinn customers can apply for a recreation grant to help them with their hobbies. We award ten grants in the amount of ISK 30,000 each. All kids who participate in recreational activities and apply are equally eligible to be drawn from the pool.
For ages 9-12
Young people aged 9-12 can get bank accounts, payment cards and access to the app with the approval of their parents or guardians.
For ages 13-15
Youngsters in the age group 13 to 15 years old can apply for a payment card, open a bank account and get access to the app. Parents and other guardians are able to maintain an overview in their own app accounts.
