No, you must choose a new username and password for the card app.

You need to register again using the right e-mail.

• Check to see if the entered information is correct and try again.
• If the same card is rejected three times within 24 hours or five different cards are rejected within 24 hours, the user cannot try again for the next 24 hours.
• Check if the app accepts the payment card in question.

In the app, tap “Forgotten username” and enter an e-mail address. The system then sends the username to the registered e-mail address. You can also contact our Customer Service Centre to have the username e-mailed to a registered e-mail address.

To reset the password in the app:

1. Tap “Forgotten password”.
2. Enter the username and click Continue.
3. A verification code is sent to your registered e-mail address.
4. Enter the verification code in the verification code box and tap Continue.
5. Enter a new password and click "Change password".

It may take some time for the phone to receive the identification number. If you don’t receive it, you can check the following:

• Check the e-mail spam or junk folder.
• Make sure that the correct e-mail address was entered.
• Delete the card app from your phone and reinstall it.

Contact our Customer Service Centre and ask them to register your phone number and e-mail address.

Landsbankinn’s Customer Service Centre can freeze your card or remove it for your phone. You can contact us by calling +354 410 4000. If your phone is stolen, we recommend removing the card from the phone. If the phone is lost, we recommend freezing the card as it can be reopened when the phone is found. Outside of our opening hours, call +354 525 2000, which is the emergency number for Visa cards.

You can delete a payment card from the card app by tapping “Edit card” and then the waste basket in the upper right corner.

• Check whether the app is set as the default payment method.
• This is done in Settings, Connection – NFC and Payment – Tap and Pay - and select the Landsbankinn card app.

The card app defaults to the same language as the phone. To change the card app’s language setting, you must change your phone’s language setting.

You'll have to delete the cards from the card app, download the latest version of the app from the Play Store and reinstall the cards. If the card app is deleted and reinstalled, make sure to log in (not sign up).
